Typically, you will need 75 to 100 chips per player in at least 4 different colours or denominations.  These amounts and denominations will allow you to achieve the mix needed for virtually any bank scenario.  This will also give the players a basis for betting flexibility.  Remember, you can always add to your poker set.

Basic Quantity Guidelines

• 3 to 4   players   – 225 to 400   chips
• 4 to 5   players   – 300 to 500   chips
• 5 to 6   players   – 375 to 600   chips
• 6 to 7   players   – 450 to 700   chips
• 7 to 8   players   – 525 to 800   chips
• 8 to 9   players   – 600 to 900   chips
• 9 to 10 players –   675 to 1000 chips
